Question: I’ve come across your newsletter and considering get licenses as a swimming pool contractor. What areas are required to be licensed?
Answer: If you’re considering being licensed as a swimming pool contractor, then there’s a lot of different specialties available. According to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation, you may become licensed for layout, structural, excavation, trim, decking or piping and finishing. With any of these certified specialty licenses, you may perform work throughout the State of Florida.
