Question:
Should, or better yet, could a manager let people know what candidates he believes will do a good job and who he would like to see on the Board of Directors so long as he is not negative about other candidates?
Answer:
A manager should not be involved in the election process by endorsing or recommending candidates. Several years ago, a manager was disciplined for such activity. A community association manager’s duties do not include getting involved in the politics of the association.
